MTV: Mötley Crüe sure know how to make an entrance. The rockers showed up to Fuse TV in New York City on Monday in an over-the-top Cadillac Miller-Meteor ambulance.

The theatrical entrance — complete with gothed-out girls disguised as nurses — was an effort by the boys to plug their upcoming tour Crüe Fest 2: The White Trash Circus.

Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Vince Neil and Mick Mars will have some help kicking off their tour on July 19. Godsmack, Drowning Pool, Theory of a Dead Man and Charm City Devils are set to open the fest. The summer tour comes just months before the 20th anniversary of the Crüe’s iconic album Dr. Feelgood and will showcase the classic in its entirety — some songs will be performed live for the first time.

Aside from gearing up for the tour, the band is also working on side projects, a new album and a possible Mötley Crüe-inspired edition of “Guitar Hero.”

The rest of us may have been surprised when Carrie Underwood covered the Crüe classic, “Home Sweet Home,” for “American Idol,” but Sixx wasn’t. The bassist told RollingStone.com that he was almost featured on the song alongside the country superstar — and despite their musical differences, he’d love to work with Underwood in the future.

“I think we both want to write songs together. She writes pop songs and I think I’m a pop songwriter, however the songs are performed.”
